BCSC To Conduct Second Round Of Radon Testing
Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation officials are planning a second round of radon testing for district buildings later in October. BCSC tested for radon in 2013 and found rates in several buildings to be above the Environmental Protection Agency’s recommended level of 4.0 picocuries per liter (pCi/L), the measurement of how much radon exists in the air. Superintendent Jim Roberts says testing radon levels again is a no-brainer. He wasn’t in the position at the time of the original testing.
